Coffee and Cakes at Cricket!
Congratualtions to Justine Mills at upmarket trendy Cricket Clothing in Mathew Street who raised £2,000 for the MacMillan charity with a cool as you like coffee morning.
Fine bone china, delicious cakes and a store full of unbelievably stylish clothes and bags…. With the mother of all hangovers it was one event I was happy to be at – as the coffee seemed to assist the self inflicted bad head!
Hangover cured, a severe dent in my bank account (owing to me being unable to resist a lovely Chloe bag) and the shock of winning a raffle prize all added to a wonderful couple of hours on a Friday morning.
Special mention to the Lady Mayoress Hilary Clark who came along to support the event. A delightful lady, who appreciates the good work done by the MacMillan volunteers, epitomises everything you would want from someone to represent your city.
