St. George’s plateau and the surrounding area came to a standstill on Friday night as 40,000 people braved the chill to witness the official launch of Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year.
The production was innovative, moving and spectacular and the crowd, which stretched as far as the eye could see, loved every moment of it!
Crowds of that size are normally restricted to open top bus tours when one of our teams have a trophy to display, but on Friday night, it really did not matter what team you supported, the City was the trophy and everyone was supporting it!
