Liverpool's Number One project
Liverpool has produced a staggering 56 number one records, spanning from 1953 Lita Roza – How much is that doggy in the window to 2002 Atomic Kitten’s The Tide is High.
To celebrate this amazing achievement last week the Number One Project took place at the Echo Arena.
Martin O’Shea and the team from Integral RPM pulled together a stunning collection of local talent who performed some fantastic Number One songs.
The Number 1 charity single 'Anyone who had a heart' by Atomic Kitten will be released this 28th January followed by the the album 'Liverpool - the Number One's Album' which is released on the 4th Feb.
All money raised through the concert, single and album will be going to the 6 x Number One Charities - Radio City - Give a Child A Chance, Imagine Appeal, Marina Dalglish, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Radio Merseyside Charitable Trust and Liverpool Echo Sunrise Fund.
