Kingdom's catwalk with a difference

By Carolyn Hughes on Feb 18, 08 01:55 AM in

Swanky new bar Kingdom on Harrington Street in the heart of the city’s business district paraded catwalk models with a difference on Thursday night.

A 15-strong female fraternity from companies including leading Liverpool property agents Knight Frank, Malmaison Hotel, Age Perfecting Treatments and deli/cafe bar The Italian Club donned clothes from funky Bold Street retailer Joy in aid of Cancer Research.

Co-owner Costa Kolokotrone was delighted with the night: “We were very pleased with the turnout, the models looked great and it’s a concept that we will be repeating throughout the year as the cause is close to my heart.

More than 250 people from the cream of Liverpool business attended the party that also included jazz dancers visiting from London via the world famous choreography company, House of Suarez.
