The Music Development Agency (MDA) hosted a wrap party at 3345 Parr Street on Thursday to mark the success of two music and media programmes for young people. Well-known faces on the city's music, film and media scene were given a private screening of the movie before enjoying live music from the talented singer songwriter Laura Oakes.

The Liverpool Empire Theatre said goodbye last week to longstanding servant Bill Elms.
