8 Miles High at the Royal Court
The Royal Court Theatre has been transformed into a farmers fireld for the only outdoor festival to take place indoors!
Jim Cartwright, author of Two and Little Voice, has created a play set which will take you back to the 1960s - for the latest production '8 miles high'.
The show is an ensemble piece with a multi talented team of actor/musicians including: Eithne Browne, Paul Broughton, Keith Carter, Zita Frith, Rosie Jenkins, James Lindsay, Jake Norton, Iwan Rheon, Andrew Schofield, Francis Tucker and Tim Whitnall.
The cast double as the Festival band and they will be playing hits from the era of peace and love such as: California Dreaming, Whiter Shade of Pale, Here Comes The Sun, Urban Spaceman and Black Magic Woman.
The cast, crew and even the building itself will be getting into the swing of things with tie-dye, headbands and beads all round. A mix of live music and sharp gags in a mind-expanding setting, this show will be talked about for years to come! The show runs from18th July until the 16th August.
