Brouhaha launch party
Guests filled the new Contemporary Urban Centre on Friday evening as Brouhaha International launched its annual arts festival.
Party-goers were given a sneak preview of some of the 180 performers from across the globe who will be entertaining Merseyside during the three-week-long festival which culminates in the UK's second biggest carnival on August 2 at Liverpool's Prince's Park.
Moving between the stylish rooms of the converted warehouse, the carnival-loving crowd enjoyed delicious nibbles and wine during non-stop entertainment.
In the Wake Theatre a mix of contemporary and street dancers performed while in the CUC's stylish new cafe bar an amazing Italian circus show and Liverpool top jazz quartet were the main attractions.
Those in the Jamaica Room were wowed by Zugluzone, a Latin jazz band while funk, soul, jazz and world rhythms were the sounds of DJ Darren Ridge enticing people into a new lounge bar development.
