South African Wine Tasting at HOST
A trip through the new world Western Cape wine province, accompanied by the vibrant spice and flavour of the Far East sounds like a dream for most. However, last night Pan Asian restaurant HoSt brought together a fusion of these worlds by holding a wine tasting dinner with the Simonsig Estate of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Over 50 guests attended the Hope Street-based restaurant and enjoyed five different wines paired with carefully selected dishes which complimented the flavours of the wines; guests were also talked through each wine by expert Pieter Malan of the Simonsig Estate.
