On Tuesday 29th September 2008 David M. Robinson Jewellers held an exclusive event for 60 guests at The Panoramic Restaurant in Liverpool to celebrate being granted the agency for Panerai watches in Merseyside. Invited guests were given the opportunity to see some never before seen pieces from the new collection that was launched in Geneva in April, as well as many watches from the current collection.

Emma Somerset in Chester hosted an evening for clients last week to promote the new autumn winter ranges. David M. Robinson showcased their stunning new collections, whilst Yaffe Fusion Art were on hand to showcase their unique style of Fusion Art. Champagne and canapés were plentiful and ladies browed the latest ranges for the coming season.

David M. Robinson Jewellers recently invited customers to join them for an evening of 'Burgers and Bubbly' at Jamie Carragher's Sport Café England in Stanley Street Liverpool to see pieces from the brand new collection of watches from Rolex.

Multi-platinum selling US artist Edwin McCain performed live at the Living Room last week. With his ninth album released in June 2008 Edwin is, embarking upon a UK tour. Edwin has toured extensively throughout the US with his unique blend of southern soul and acoustic rock. He has performed with members of REM, The Allman Brothers, Kid Rock and the Black Crowes.

Guests were treated to Winter Berry Bellini's, which tasted like 'Chistmas in a glass', and a selection savory and sweet Christmas themed canapés.

Steven Gerrard supported the official launch party of kids clothes shop in West Derby 'Fabulous Children' who in conjunction raised money at the launch for local charity Zoë's Place.

Steven had his team mates Torres, Carragher, Reiner signed a their own shirt along with his own which helped raise £1000 in the auction and raffle sales that will be donated Zoë's Place. Lisa Ayers the owner of Fabulous Children said "the launch was a success, the kids did great in the fashion show and was lovely to have the support of players raising money for the charity'.

Hollyoaks' Emma Rigby celebrated her birthday last week with a group of friends at Alma De Cuba. Emma and friends joined in the fun by getting on the tables with the Samba dancers. Happy Birthday Emma !

The Great Britain cycling team enjoyed a post race evening at the Living Room, Victoria Street, following the Tour of Britain road race at the weekend. The team have been back in action only weeks after winning gold medals at the Beijing olympics. The team have a few days off before returning back to training in Tuscany, where the GB camp is based.

The menu, designed to be healthy, proves that healthy living can also be fulfilling, and can even fill up a Rugby team!

Liverpool accountants and business advisors SB&P LLP celebrated their 40th Anniversary with an exclusive party at Liverpool's Racquet Club.

The event, which started at 6.30 pm was attended by more than 200 people from businesses throughout the North West.

Drinks and canapés were available along with special made smoothies.

The night was a roaring success with over 100 clients attending to join the celebrations. The evening was an ideal opportunity for people to view the newly renovated beauty rooms, browse the treatments available and to take advantage of exclusive offers available for both Beauty and Hair services on the night.

The ten minute trailer, written and directed by Dean, was produced by Naked Poet Productions and starred Lewis Emerick, Philip Olivier, Suzanne Collins and Paul Barber, tells the story of a man with two wives, two lives and too much to lose.

Frank McKenna outlined DLIB's plans for the remainder of the year, and entertainment was provided by the excellent duo 'Xander and the Peace Pirates'.
