The Living Room in Chester recently hosted an evening of psychic fun and intrigue with medium and clairvoyant Dawn Sherwood. A select group of guests spent two hours testing their own psychic ability whilst Dawn delivered messages for selected guests. A light hearted evening of fun and mystery ensured that the guests had a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining evening. With post session cool laid back entertainment provided by the very talented Joey AnKrah the evening proved to be incredibly memorable and a great success.

The Music Development Agency (MDA) hosted a wrap party at 3345 Parr Street on Thursday to mark the success of two music and media programmes for young people. Well-known faces on the city's music, film and media scene were given a private screening of the movie before enjoying live music from the talented singer songwriter Laura Oakes.

The Liverpool Empire Theatre said goodbye last week to longstanding servant Bill Elms. Bill has left the theatre to set up Bill Elms Associates, a new Liverpool based Marketing and Public Relations company exclusively for the live entertainment and ticketed events sectors, working with a wide range of clients/promoters locally, regionally or nationally.

Wirral WITCHES (Women in Touch with Claire House) held a fundraising dinner for Claire House at Gusto, Telegraph Road, Heswall, last week.

Il Forno on Duke Street teamed up with Enotria Wines last week to host a tasting of seven award winning Umani Ronchi wines accompanied by a seven course gourmet dinner tailored by head chef Paolo Cillo.
The night was a great opportunity for nearly 100 guests to both take a step back in time with ancient grape varieties and also look forward at the future of Italian wine making.
Due to the success of night, Il Forno are planning to hold a similar event in September.

A group of friends joined me in a box at the Echo Arena to marvel at the queen of soul.
One hour and forty five minutes of classic hits, five costume changes and amazing encores left our group breathless but feeling like we had truly witnessed an amazing performer.
