Liverpool's premier bar and club, Palm Sugar Lounge in Liverpool ONE hosted 'Passionquila' an exclusive launch party last night. The cream of Liverpool society celebrated the start of fantastic live entertainment evenings, with a Spanish/Latin theme. Over 300 guests enjoyed Thai Tapas and free flowing Latin inspired cocktails, drinks and fizz, while a host of international entertainers and flamenco dancers performed throughout the night.
The weekly line up includes acoustic Wednesdays, Spanish/Latin Thursdays, soul legends on Fridays, party night on Saturdays and swing Sundays. For those looking for the next big thing Saturday afternoons are the perfect time to experience "unsigned acts" where budding artists can perform to talent spotting record company representatives.
Kathy Frost hosted a ladies evening at her home last week to showcase Kirsty Doyle's latest collection. Over 100 ladies supported the event whilst enjoying superb hospitality, including free-flowing champagne and delicious canapes. Kirsty talked the ladies through each collection piece and highlighted the fact that each garment could be tailored to suit the individual needs of a client. Jewellery on the night was provided by Benna. All funds raised on the night were for the NSPCC.
The Red Door Neighbourhood Bar and Kitchen, due to open in West Kirby in April, hosted a 'Cocktail Tasting' evening at GUSTO in Heswall to sample cocktails from the proposed new menu. As well as tasting some fabulous new cocktails, Lee Lynch, Director of Bar Operations, also developed a new cocktail for the Wirral Witches - the WITCHES BREW (Antica formula Italian sweet Vermouth, Creme de Mure, fresh lemon juice, sugar, fresh slices of orange, lemon and strawberry, topped with lemonade) - which will be on The Red Door cocktail list and a donation from every one sold will go to the Wirral Witches who support Claire House.
The Living Room in Victoria Street hosted an ULTIMATE GIRLS NIGHT IN on Thursday. Liverpool's most stylish ladies were bowled over with Philip Armstrong's latest collection. Hair was provided by Zoo Salon and make-up by Bobbi-Brown. Khan Dental showcased the latest in teeth whitening, botox and fillers, whilst David M. Robinson showcased a stunning collection of jewellery. Lash Out Lashes treated the ladies to mini-manicures whilst consulting on the latest lash technology, The Dutch Flower Shop produced stunning floral arrangements and Yaffe Fusion Art displayed their unique brand of photography. A three course dinner and free flowing cocktails ensured that the Liverpool female glitterati had the ULTIMATE GIRLS NIGHT IN at the Living Room. The giant illuminated chocolate fountain was provided by BIG ENTERTAINMENT.... and proved incredibly popular for the entire evening, as did Steve from bemybutler.com
The Hilton at Liverpool One held their official launch party last night. The much sought after tickets were taken up by Liverpool's glitterati who were treated to cocktails and champagne as well as a catwalk show from Cricket and music from the Sugababes..
